TRIANGLE 5 killed viral vaccine is used to aid in prevention of a number of diseases. Because it is a killed virus vaccine, Triangle is flexible and easy to use in cattle of all ages and stages of production. Triangle contains killed viruses of BVD Types 1 and 2, infec- tious bovine rhinotracheitis (IBR), bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV) and parainfluenza-3 (PI3), CITADEL VL5 provides protection against five major Leptospira serovars, including defense against urinary shedding of Leptospira borgpetersenii serovar hardjo (type hardjo-bovis) – the serovar primarily responsible for chronic infections. CITADEL VL5 has the added benefit of helping protect against infertility, delayed conception, or abortion caused by Campylobacter fetus. CALIBER-7 vaccines are available as a way to protect against blackleg, enterotoxemia, and other clostridial pathogens.
