The Ranch is owned and operated by Layton and Claudia Humphrey, 40-year contributors with the Noble Institute. We, and our foreman, Clayton Hoff, are dedicated to raising well-bred com- mercial Angus feeder and breeder cattle. Our base herd, approximately 1000+ head, are Angus bred cattle from registered herds and proven genetics from Schaff Angus Valley, Pullen Certified Angus Beef ® , Fink Beef Genetics Gold Standard and our own Flying M Ranch Fancy Heifers. The herd is Noble Institute and Integrity Beef certified, and BVD PI Negative. Our calving begins in September. Our bull battery meets or beats the production EPD’s in the top 20% of their breed for the last 10 years. Integrity Beef Sustainability Pilot Project Year Two Results Summary (Oct. 2019) reported that Flying M calves had carcasses that scored 96% choice or better. We market our Fancy Angus feeder and breeder cattle through Superior Livestock Auction.
