Page 6 Dear Friends and Cattle Producers, It’s once again time for the Annual Southwestern Exposition Invitational Commercial Heifer Show and Sale. This sale has a long history of excel- lence and has earned the respect of cattlemen throughout Texas and bordering states. This year’s offering will continue to add to that reputation as the consignors have once again brought their best females. If you need replace- ment females, I urge you to come to the sale and evaluate these. They have been screened for quality and have been bred to be productive for the new owner. I commend the consignors for their efforts to bring you only the best. While you are here, I encourage you take in the new Dickies Arena, home to the rodeo, as well as the other entertainment and educational ac- tivities. The Fort Worth Stock is still rich in tradition and is dedicated to the improvement of the livestock industry and agribusiness. A special thank you goes out to the staff of the Fort Worth Stock Show for all of their hard work to make this event of one of the best in the country. Once again, Boehringer-Ingelheim and Animal Health International have organized a health plan for all of the cattle in this sale, and a vaccination and anti-parasite protocol has been followed by our consignors. See page 11 for the specific health program provided to our consignors. This year our Awards Ceremony is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. in the West Sale Arena on Friday, Feb. 7th. Following the Awards Ceremony, there will be a “Barn Party” brought to you by Lone Star Ag Credit, and this is a great time to preview the sale offering. Thank you for your interest.
