2022 September Newsletter

3 Entries for Livestock and Horse shows will be accepted beginning September 15. The Premium List, FWSSR’s official rule book for each department, will go live at FWSSR.COM at 8 a.m. and exhibitors will be able to download entry applications at that time as well. Entry applications, along with Agent Summary Sheets, must be submitted to the Stock Show office along with payment. Key points to remember for each department: HORSE DEPARTMENT Horse show exhibitors will be able to enjoy the Stock Show’s new online entry system. The dynamic system will allow exhibitors to enter shows, add classes, scratch entries and make other changes. Entry fees must be paid with credit cards and a four percent processing fee will apply. The online system will allow exhibitors to enter up to eight horses in a single session. Those needing to enter more than eight horses will need to utilize additional online session(s). In addition to Horse Show classes, the online system can be used to enter the following competitions: Equine IQ Contest; Equine Public Speaking Challenge; FWSSR Fiddle Showdown; and Youth Escaramuza and Charro Cala competitions. Horse Show exhibitors wishing to utilize the paper entry system will be able to download applications and Agent Summary Sheets at FWSSR.COM beginning September 15. Like Livestock Show entries, paper entry applications must be mailed and fees must be paid by cash, check or money order. Credit cards will not be accepted for entry related fees submitted in person or by mail. Entries will be accepted after the closing date (November 15) provided exhibitor pays appropriate late show fee. Any entry postmarked or submitted online at fwssr.com after midnight November 15 will be considered late and must pay appropriate fee. All late entries must be postmarked or submitted online at fwssr.com by midnight December 30. Absolutely no late entries accepted after this date.
