He has done the 4 a.m. saddlings, half-top trailer rides, and 12-hour work days. He’s been used to drag calves in the branding pen, sort cattle, catch strays in the canyons and been in rough country. You can step off this guy with a nasty yearling at the end of the rope and he never moves a muscle. It wouldn’t take much to start him in the arena as a rope horse. On top of his extensive resume as a ranch horse, he has proven to be a gentle, easygoing gelding, being ridden through the middle of town, on long trails, shown in ranch trail events and used as a lesson horse. He loads and unloads himself, stands good for the farrier and is a barn favorite with his personality. Eddie stands 15.1 hands and weighs a stout 1,100 pounds. There’s not much Eddie hasn’t done, and we are proud to offer him alongside such a great group of horses here at the Fort Worth Stock Show Select Sale.
