3 THE STOCK SHOW! When the world’s best rodeo athletes ride and rope at the 2022 FWSSR PRORODEO Tournament, they’ll be under the best roof in the nation. Since opening its doors in October of 2019, Dickies Arena has held some remarkable events with no signs of slowing down. And to highlight the success, Fort Worth’s beloved Dickies Arena was recently nominated for Arena of the Year in 2021 by Pollstar Magazine. Within the 9,300-seat venue for rodeo, there is truly not a bad seat in the house thanks to the team’s dedication to the details for the fan experience. To aid in that fan experience, Dickies Arena is home to the second-largest continuous 360-degree screen in North America, measuring 105 feet across and 26 feet tall. And to accompany the visual experience, the sound quality resembles that of a world-class performance theater. Put those two factors together and patrons are bound to experience a live performance like no other. Dickies Arena has a variety of incredible events scheduled in 2022 including basketball, concerts, lacrosse, gymnastics, “Disney On Ice,” and others. A new personality will be taking advantage of the world-class technology in Dickies Arena with the appearance of famed rodeo barrel man and entertainer, Matt Merritt of Olin, North Carolina. For 15 years, Matt Merritt has been entertaining thousands in arenas all over the nation. Some people call him a barrel man, others a rodeo clown. He says his life is spent on the road with his makeup kit. PBR fans will recognize him as the exclusive entertainer of the PBR Velocity Tour. He keeps crowds across the country and world laughing with his routines, jokes and dance moves, an act worthy of the 360-degree video screen. So, keep an eye on Matt and don’t be surprised if he jumps the rail and brings the show to you! GROWING THROUGH INNOVATION WIRED FOR SOUND AND FUN
