STOCK SHOW GOES PINK WITH A DASH OF TURQUOISE TUESDAY, JANUARY 25 The Fort Worth Stock Show remains committed to raising breast cancer awareness and welcomes a new partnership with the Careity Foundation, a Fort Worth-based organization founded by Lynn Walsh and Beverly Branch, both of whom lost a mother to breast cancer. “Partnering with the Stock Show is phenomenal,” said Branch, emphasizing that Careity works with patients facing other types of cancer, as well. “Careity provides a continuity of care and we stay involved with our patients throughout their entire journey. This partnership will inform potential donors and help provide more funds to provide more care.” Careity provides a wide range of services for including cancer navigation, dietician services, nutritional supplements, mammograms, diagnostics, biopsies, surgeries, psychotherapy, social worker and chaplain services, as well as medical massage therapy, reflexology and acupuncture, all with a personal touch. Careity will help rodeo fans get their pink on by providing a limited number of pink bandanas as fans enter the Dickies Arena on January 25 and half of your rodeo ticket purchase will be donated to the foundation. For those who would like to support Careity in the meantime, just go to Careity.org and click DONATE.
