Youmight think you’ve gone back in time while watching actual working cowboys from ranch outfits across the Southwest compete in six exciting events. The action is often daring and always entertaining. Awards for the Top Ranch, Top Hand and Top Horse are on the line in this friendly indoor range war. A round of Justin Mutton Bustin’®, always a crowd favorite, is also set each evening. It’s the highlight of Ranching Heritage Weekend sponsored by Western Horseman. JANUARY 16 7:30 P.M. It’s a Celebración like no other as the Stock Show pays tribute to the pageantry of Texas’s Hispanic heritage. The Best of Mexico Celebración produced by renowned Charro Jerry Diaz is a swirling fusion of the Mexican charro, mariachis, folklorico dancers andmore. One of the most popular events of the Stock Show, it’s muy emocionante! Brought to you by Telemundo 39 and La Grande 107.5. JANUARY 17 2 P.M. The Cowboys of Color Rodeo stands as a shining example of the diversity that can be found in the sport of rodeo. Cowboys and cowgirls representing the African American, Mexican, Native American and Anglo cultures come together on Martin Luther King Jr. Day in a performance that is both thrilling and surprising. It’s a great day to celebrate how the sport of rodeo crosses a diversity of cultures. Sponsored by Telemundo 39. JANUARY 14 - FEBRUARY 4 11 A.M., 2 P.M. (Select Dates) and 7:30 P.M. Stay in your seats as the rodeo pauses to bring fans a different kind of action. Texas Mutual Insurance and Justin Brands, Inc., are the companies behind the Calf Scramble that provides 4-H and FFA students across the state with a chance to halter a calf and win $500 toward the purchase of a dairy or beef heifer they can show in 2023. There’s no place likeTexas when it comes to the sport of rodeo, so it’s fitting that the home of the World’s Original Indoor Rodeo be the placewhere champions of the most prestigious rodeos in the Lone Star State go head to head to crown the best of themall. The FortWorth Stock Showwill pit their own rodeo champions against theHouston, SanAntonio, SanAngelo andAustin rodeo champions in a bid to claimthe top spot. Presented by HOLTCAT. JANUARY 21 - FEBRUARY 5 11 A.M., 2 P.M. (Select Dates) and 7:30 P.M. Offering more than $1 Million in prize money, the Fort Worth Stock Show has become the launching pad for the 2022 rodeo season for athletes focused on getting an early jump in PRCA world standings. Fans will want to reserve their tickets for more than one performance to watch their favorite cowboys and cowgirls take on top rodeo stock in a quest to make it to the Championship Round, February 5.
